I’m a happily chilled out Cape Town mom with the desire to self-sustain as far as possible. I ‘converted’ from a chef in fine dining to working from home promoting the healthy way through positive example.
Since I was expecting my daughter I have gone off animal products. The natural next step was returning to a predominantly plant based diet. I wanted to feel that healthy again, and be an example for my child when she starts making her own choices
Since leaving professional kitchens for the foreseeable future I now focus on helping moms have beautiful births, tending my garden and producing yummy environmentally friendly food.
I am currently coming to grips with not being able to use my ‘Mama camera’ to take gorgeous photo’s of the food I make. I do apologize for the Instagram shots that I am using in the meantime. Hang in with me while I attempt to sort out my 1.8’s F-stop crisis.
Glad to have found your blog. Where are you from?
greets from Belgium

We were in Cape Town in 2005. Loved it! One of the highlights was our visit to bird island (Lamberts Bay) with all the cape gannets. Beautiful nature!
